I am very busy and I don’t have time to go to a gym to exercise, so I am thinking about buying some DVDs that I can follow at home.
I took a few yoga classes when I used to go to the gym and I really enjoyed it. Besides, my goal is to shape my body and have a better posture and not necessarily lose weight. That’s why I thought that yoga would be good for me.
Any recommendation?
I am a yoga teacher and have been practicing for over 10 years. These are my recommendations:
Total Yoga – Earth, Water, Fire – series. Earth is for beginners, Water is more challenging, and Fire is advanced.

I like Rodney Yee’s DVDs as well (plus he’s nice to look at).

(I found the Yoga Burn a little disappointing – not as much of a burn as I hoped.)
I know you are looking for DVDs, but Rodney Yee’s book "Moving Toward Balance: 8 weeks of yoga) is fabulous. It literally has 8 weeks of yoga classes, beautifully laid out, and it is for beginners as well as people with experience. I totally recommend it.
Cindy Lee has a series called Om Yoga In a Box, which is an audio CD with picture cards to follow along. I really enjoy her classes.

David Swenson’s Short Forms DVD is great, too. It’s got a 15-minute, half-hour, and 45-minute practice. You could also try his primary series DVD – an hour and a half. Amazon has his DVDs, as well as ashtanga.net
Esther demonstrates a dynamic flow of yoga poses, not really for beginners.
9 MONTHS PREGNANT Jess shows the routine she’s been doing every day.
